Kentucky Colonels – Popular Bluegrass band formed in 1956. The group’s Critically acclaimed album of 1963, Appalachian Swing, was recently reissued on Rounder Records. The band started as a brothers group. It’s first single was “Head Over Heels in Love with You,” on side A and “Kentucky Hills” on side B.

Kentucky Colonels – They were called one of the most exciting and one of the best teams in professional basketball from 1967 – 1976. The Colonels were based in Lousiville and featured players such as Louie Dampier, Dan Issel, darel Carrier and Artis Gilmore.
