Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels Vehicle License Plate
Active members of the Honorable Order who live in Kentucky may purchase the Honorable Order’s license plate through their local County Court Clerk. All that is required is to show a current year Honorable Order Membership card. The card must also be presented at each renewal date. Please note the actual card must be presented, facsimiles are not acceptable. If your card has been misplaced, contact the Honorable Order for a replacement which will be mailed to you as quickly as possible. Membership cards cannot be faxed.
By displaying the plate, members signify that they financially participate in the charitable and educational programs undertaken by the Honorable Order. The plate is not permitted on commercial vehicles; it may only be displayed on personal vehicles. Personalization of a plate may be possible but must be discussed with the County Court Clerk’s office.
Efforts have been made to extend the license plate program to other states but at this point they have not been successful.
